Background
Lenovo ThinkPad T420s can come with three processors: Intel Core i3, i5, or i7. With a battery life of 5 hours, it is used mainly in business settings. The T420s was originally released in February of 2011 with a starting weight of 3.94 lbs. It can be bought with 1GB, 2GB, or 4GB of memory and has a total capacity of 16GB (a BIOS update may be required). The most notable feature of the ThinkPad is its TrackPoint, which is a red, circular cursor control device located on the center of the ThinkPad's keyboard.
Identification
You can identify the model of the ThinkPad on the bottom right of the screen; it should say “T420s". On the bottom case of the Lenovo ThinkPad T420s, you will find the manufacturer information including the model number on a clear sticker with white print.
