Background
The seventh generation of the P14s represents a major step forward in terms of repairability and sustainability for the ThinkPad mobile workstation line. As part of its continued commitment to simpler repairs and upgradeability, Lenovo consulted directly with the iFixit Solutions team to refine the design and make instructions and replacement parts more readily available for end users.
The ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 features a replaceable keyboard, replaceable USB-C ports, M.2 SSD storage, either LPCAMM2 or SODIMM replaceable memory (depending on configuration), and a tool-free battery procedure.
Identification
Like other ThinkPad products, the P14s Gen 7 is readily identifiable by the make and model number printed on the bottom cover, in order to aid in finding compatible parts and repair procedures.
