Background and Identification
The Kindle Fire HD 2013 features a 7’’ high definition touchscreen with up to 10 hours of battery life. The digital storage capacity varies from 8 to 16GB. It includes one mini usb port to connect to a computer or to charge the device. Additionally to reading, the Kindle Fire HD lets you surf the web, watch videos, listen to music and use different apps. It was released in October 2013 with no known manufacturer recalls up to date.
The device can be identified by the serial number found in the box or by selecting the Settings options and then selecting Device Info on the e-reader. The Kindle Fire HD does not have a front facing camera compared to other models.
