Background
The HP G62-347nr was released in 2010 with a Windows 7 operating system. It includes a 15.6” digital HD LED display with Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Silverlight already preloaded. On June 14, 2016 there was an HP notebook computer battery safety recall and replacement program. This was due to some of the batteries having a potential to overheat, which posed a fire and burn hazard to consumers.
Identification
The HP G62-347nr laptop can be identified by the model number printed on the label located on the bottom of the device. If the label has been removed, you can find the model number beneath the battery. For additional help with identifying your device, visit the HP Support page.
