The HP EliteBook 850 G8 is a business laptop that was released in December 2022. The laptop replaced the HP EliteBook 850 G7 in HP's business lineup as part of its 11th generation of laptops and a direct replacement laptop was not released as part of the following G9 generation. The closest replacement was the HP EliteBook 855 G9, the AMD chipset variant of the EliteBook 850 series that utilize Intel chipsets.
