Bose Soundlink 2
Background and Identification
The Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker II is the successor and improved version of the original Soundlink Speaker. It was originally released in September 2012. It can operate on the battery for 8 hours or directly from an A/C power source and takes around 3 hours to fully charge, and supports both auxiliary and Bluetooth connection with a wide variety of devices. The Bluetooth has an effective range of approximately 30 feet. The Soundlink II design dimensions are 9.1 W x 1.9 D x 5.1'' H. The design is simple with the speaker being covered by a magnetic cover that can fold into a stand to keep the speaker upright. The speaker weighs 2.87 lbs. The Soundlink II has been since been replaced by the Bose Soundlink III. The Soundlink III has a greater battery life, a greater range of accessories, different design, and a faster recharge time.
