Background
The Anker 2.4G, model DS-2240 is a wireless optical mouse. It was released in 2013 by the Anker electronics company. The mouse is battery powered and requires two AA batteries. It has an ergonomic and vertical design, designed as a "neutral handshake" and 6 buttons. It is compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. The Anker 2.4G has three levels of sensitivity, 800 / 1200 / 1600DPI for tracking. Lastly, it has a 5 meter range.
Identification
The mouse model and product name is found on the bottom of the mouse. The item model/serial number on the top line should read 98ANWSM-01UA. The model should read DS-2240 and the product name should read Anker 2.4G Wireless Mouse. It comes in black.
