Background and Identification
The Altec Lancing Boomjacket 2 is the second addition to the range. The model number is IMW579s-SBLUE-BB and was released in June 2016. This is a bluetooth wireless speaker that’s shockproof, IP67 rated waterproof, sandproof and rustproof. It can be submerged and will float on water. This model has a 50 hour battery life and can even charge your mobile devices. You can pair up to two Altec Lansing BoomJacket 2's together for a true stereo experience and even has integrated support for Siri or Google Assistant.
To identify your speaker model look at the bottom of the speaker. There will be an Altec Lansing stamp with your model number.
