My Drum Set Won't Turn On

The drum set won't turn on when I press the power button.

Low Batteries

If the drum set doesn't turn on, the first thing you may want to try is replacing the batteries. Please visit the Battery Replacement Guide for detailed instructions.

Faulty Connection

If you replaced the old batteries with new batteries, and the drum set still won't turn on, you might need to check the connection from the motherboard to the batteries.

Damaged Motherboard

If the drum set still won't turn on after replacing the batteries and checking the connection to the motherboard, you will most likely have to replace the motherboard.

The Buttons On My Drum Set Don't Work

Nothing happens when I press a certain button on the front panel.

Dirty Or Damaged Contact

If nothing happens when you press the buttons on the front panel, you may need to clean or replace the contact strip for your drum set.

I Can't See Any Lights

The lights on the cymbal or drum heads don't light up when I hit them.

Low Batteries

If the light(s) for your drum set light up, but are hard to see, you may want to try replacing the batteries. Please visit the Battery Replacement Guide for detailed instructions.

Faulty LED

If you have replaced the batteries and the lights are still dim, or you can't see any light at all, you may have one or more faulty LED(s) that may need to be replaced.

A Cymbal Or Drum Head Doesn't Respond Properly

Nothing happens whenever I hit one of the drum heads or cymbal.

Dirty Or Damaged Contact

If a specific drum head or cymbal doesn't respond at all when you hit it, you may need to clean or replace the contact for that drum head or cymbal.

The Audio On My Drum Set Is Distorted

The drum set doesn't make the appropriate sounds when my child plays on it.

Volume Switch Is Set Too Low

If you can't hear, or it is hard to hear any sound from your drum set, try adjusting the volume switch to a higher setting.

Low Batteries

If you have adjusted the volume switch and you are still having a problem hearing the appropriate sound from your drum set, you may want to try replacing the batteries. Please visit the Battery Replacement Guide for detailed instructions.

Faulty Speaker

If you are still having sound problems after adjusting your volume and replacing your batteries, you may have a faulty speaker that needs replacing. Please visit the Speaker Replacement Guide for detailed instructions.

Toggled Music/Mute Button

If the volume is fine but the background music has turned off in the middle of a jam session, you may have pressed the music/mute button. This button will cycle through various background music selections when pressed; however, one of the selections will mute the background music. To turn the music back on you can do one of two things. You can press the music/mute button located on the very right of the front button panel, or turn the drum set off for ten seconds and then turn it back on.
