Sound Not Working

No matter what you do, this flashlight won’t make a sound.

Volume Selector Switch On/Off

Check to make sure your volume is turned on, if the switch is off, switch it to the low or high volume setting.

Speaker is Disconnected

If the flashlight fails to produce sound, the speaker may be disconnected. Use this guide to fix this.

Drained/Bad Batteries

If your flashlight is not making sound, you may need new batteries. Unscrew the battery cover and replace the two AAA batteries.

Light Not Turning On

The light isn’t working.

Light Bulb is Faulty or Disconnected

If the light bulb fails to produce light, you may need to reconnect the bulb or replace it. Use this guide to do this.

Ring Not Moving

The top won’t spin.

Spinning Mechanism is Broken

If the spinning mechanism is loose and won’t catch, the locking device may be broken. This guide explains how to disassemble and reassemble the outer spinning ring.

Locking Mechanism Won’t Release

If the spinning ring on the flashlight refuses to move, the locking mechanism may be jammed or broken. Consult this guide to fix this.

Ladybug Button Not Working/Stuck

The button’s mechanical components are broken.

Drained/Bad Batteries

If you press the button and nothing happens, you may need new batteries. Unscrew the battery cover and replace the two AAA batteries.

Faulty Wire Connections

When your flashlight is not working, the wires originating at the motherboard may be disconnected or cut. Use this guide to replace the motherboard.

Corrosion on Motherboard

In the event that the device is not working, either water or battery acids have started to corrode the metal components of the motherboard, and may need to be replaced. Use this guide to do this.

Loose or Missing Components

Due to jarring or stress from impacts, some components may become loose or fall off completely, and then must be replaced.
