If your Treblab HD77 speaker will not pair via Bluetooth to your mobile device, follow this page for possible solutions.
Low or Drained Battery
If the battery has no charge it will not turn on and will therefore not be able to pair via bluetooth
- Press and hold the circular power button on top of the speaker for 3 seconds. If the device has battery it will power on by making a noise, and the LEDS will light up blue along the sides will turn on.
- If the speaker does not turn on, lift the rubber cap at the base of the speaker and using the included usb-c cord, plug the speaker into a power source to charge.
- Once plugged in, if the LED's light up red, it is charging. Let the speaker charge for at least an hour to ensure it will have battery before using.
- If this does not work, the battery likely has to be replaced. Follow this guide to replace the battery.
Audio Jack Is in Use
One issue that may cause the speaker to not connect to the users' mobile device is if the 3.5 mm audio jack is being used. This is because the speaker has a feature that disables bluetooth when a 3.5 mm jack is detected.
- Unplug the 3.5 mm audio cable from the device and then power the device off and back on again.
- By holding down the circular power button on top of the device for 3 seconds the device will turn off and then holding the button for another 3 seconds will turn the device back on.
If the issue persists the user could try to clean out the 3.5 mm audio jack with an air can since dirt or other particles may cause the bluetooth feature to be disabled.
Speaker Is Paired with Another Device
The Treblab HD77 can not be paired to more than one device at a time, and so if one device is already paired this will cause other devices to be unable to pair.
- By holding down the VOLUME + button and VOLUME - buttons at the same time for 3 seconds, the speaker will automatically unpair from any device that may already be paired.
If this does not work, the speaker can also be factory reset to unpair from other devices
- Lift the rubber cap at the base of the speaker and look for the pin sized hole next to the 3.5 mm audio jack.
- press the button using a pin or other thin object to reset the speaker back to factory settings
(Note: factory resetting the speaker will cause it to forget any devices that were previously paired and will have to be manually paired again)
Speaker Out of Range
The speaker has a bluetooth range of about 30 ft and so being outside of this range will not allow mobile devices to pair to the speaker. Make sure that if the speaker is going to be this distance or further away, that the device connected to it is within the range in order to keep connection.
Physical Obstruction
If there is a wall or other large obstacle between the speaker and mobile device, the bluetooth connection may be weakened or lost.
- Make sure the speaker and mobile device are close and have a clear space in between each other when attempting to pair.
