Sonos Roam 2 Powering On or Off

If you press the power button on your Sonos Roam 2 and the speaker won't turn on or off, follow this page for possible solutions.

Before troubleshooting, connect the Sonos Roam 2 to an approved charger to rule out power-related issues.

If the buttons are unresponsive, it's very possible that the buttons themselves are stuck due to the buildup of debris, such as dust or grime.

To troubleshoot this, first inspect the buttons for any visible debris. Then, check to see if the buttons feel physically stuck or mushy.

If they do, or if you see any visible debris, dampen a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol, making sure it's damp but not soaked or dripping, and then wipe around the edges of each button. Dry off any excess with a cloth or dry cotton swab. Repeat as necessary until the buttons are visibly clean and the buttons don't feel stuck.
