Outdated Firmware
The controller requires constant updating for optimal performance.
- Connect the controller to a PC via USB.
- Launch the application ‘Firmware Updater’.
- Install the latest firmware update.
- Restart the controller after completion.
Improper Stick Calibration
The controller may be miscalibrated, causing it to register movement incorrectly.
- Connect the controller to a PC and use the Razer Synapse App or connect to your Xbox and use the Razer Controller Setup for Xbox App.
- Open controller settings.
- Locate calibration settings.
- Follow the on-screen steps to recalibrate the analog sticks.
Worn Analog Stick Potentiometer
If the analog stick continues drifting after cleaning and updating, the internal mechanism may be worn out.
- Replacing the analog stick may restore its functionality.
