Macro/Programmable Keys not Working
Your computer is having problems recognizing your keyboard .
No Drivers Installed
If the computer does not recognize the keyboard, make sure the keyboard is plugged in fully through the USB port. If your computer has a popout window that says "cannot detect the device". Search for Razer Blackwidow Chroma. Click "Download Now", for your specific system "Microsoft Windows" or "Mac OSX". Follow the on screen instructions for installation.
Faulty Driver
If your computer recognizes your keyboard, try typing in a document or a web browser. If the keyboard is not responding to what you are typing then, try using the windows key. If none of the keys are responding search forRazer Blackwidow Chroma. Click "Download Now", for your specific system "Microsoft Windows" or "Mac OSX". Follow the on screen instructions for installation.
Not Receiving Power
Your keyboard is not powered.
Faulty USB Connection
If your keyboard is not receiving any sort of power, try unplugging the USB connector and plugging the connector into a new USB port. This is the best way to know if your keyboard is receiving power. If this does not work, make sure you are using the correct USB connector.
Keyboard not Lighting Up
Your keyboard is not lighting or is only partially lighting up.
Keyboard Connected Poorly
If the keyboard isn't lighting up, make sure that all connections are plugged in all the way into the computer in use. Check to see if any of the USB ports are in hibernation mode. To do this, go to your computer's "Device Manager" and click the + by the Universal Series Bus Controller. Continue on to any "Root Hub" and select "Properties". Click on the Power Management tab and make sure that they say "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power" under each of the "Root Hub" tabs. Also, check under the Control Panel and Power Options and select the Hibernation tab and click on the "enable hibernate support" to deselect it.
Lights are Missing/Burnt out
If any of the keys are not lighting up, carefully pry off the key to see if there is a light under that key. If there is no light under the key then you are missing that light and will have to get a replacement light. If there is a light under the key, try pushing it into the key to see if it had a bad connection. If the key still does not light up, the light most likely is burnt out and will require you to get another light to replace it.
Keys not Responding/Missing
Your keyboards keys won't depress or you are missing keys.
Keys Have Fallen Off
If a key has fallen off of your keyboard you first need to locate the missing key. Once you locate the key, make sure it doesn't have any major damage that would prohibit it from attaching to the keyboard. You must then carefully orient the key in its correct location on the keyboard and firmly press down until you hear it click into place. If the key won't click into place you may need to obtain a new key to replace it as it could be broken.
Keys are Sticking
If your keys will not depress or are stuck down it is likely because there is debris stuck under the key. Carefully pry the stuck key up and away from the keyboard. Once it is separated, check for any debris under the key itself or on the keyboard. Once the debris is clear, gently place the key in its proper location and firmly press down until you hear it click into place.

Keyboard USBs are plugged in but keyboard not working. (Never been a problem before as I’ve had this keyboard for three years) How am I supposed to check anything when I can’t log in to my pc.

I have the same problem, but I got mine for Christmas this year (BlackWidow Chroma V2), the lights work and so do the function keys for gaming mode and brightness etc, and so does setting the keyboard into demo mode, but when trying to use normal keys or numpad nothing works, plugged into my xbox and all works fine

my “m” key has stopped working since this morning and nothing works to fix it. I’ve had this keyboard for not even 3 years and for the price, I’m not super happy since they had to exchange it 2 times during the warranty.

Has been working for 2 years and still powers up and lights up but all of a sudden I cant type anyhting and is even connected to the latest version of synapse. Was working this morning and saved my color presets but now reverted to default presets and will only have changes from synapse save for small amount of time then changes back to default colors and cant type in docs or chrome or use windows key at all. Its BlackWidow Chroma keyboard and im running off a mac and tried on another computer and still didnt work. Wondering If theres a reset button or someway I can fix this cause its my only gaming keyboard and i wanna play mc and not have to buy a new one. Thanks
