Device screen is cracked

If your device screen is cracked you can use this guide for specific steps on how to replace it.

Screen is black and device will not power on

If your device won’t turn on, the battery may be dead. Plug your tablet into a functioning charger and wait approximately an hour for it to turn on, then hold down the power button to see if the device turns on. If the device does not turn on, test your charger on another device if you have one. If that device does charge, then the battery on your tablet might need to be replaced.

If your device won’t turn on and has been submerged or subjected to water, your motherboard may be water damaged. Refer to this guide for steps on how to replace the motherboard.

Device will not charge when plugged into a charger

Test your charger in another device to see if the charger is working. If your charger will not charge any devices, then your charger needs to be replaced with one that is new and functioning.

If your device won’t charge check your device’s charging port for anything that might be suck on it that is interfering with contact between the device’s charging port and the charger. Use a brush or airbrush to clean any debris out of the charging port.

You have trouble listening to sounds on your device speakers

If you have trouble listening to sounds on your device speakers your device volume might be turned down. Check if the volume on the device is turned down and turn it up. If your volume button is broken you can go to settings and go to volume settings and turn the volume up.

If you have trouble listening to sounds from your device speakers, then your device’s speaker might be dirty or have something stuck on it. Check the device’s speaker for anything that might be suck in between the speakers and the device shell casing that might be interfering with the sound. Accumulation of dust or dirty might also interfere or prevent the sound from coming out of the device. Check the speaker for accumulation of any dust or dirt and use a brush to clean it or an airbrush to blow it out.

Pictures taken from the device camera appear blurry, all black, or irregular

If your pictures come out blurry when you take pictures using your device’s camera, the camera on your device might contain dust. Wipe down the outside of the camera. If the problem continues, remove the case of your device and clean the inside of the camera. You can use this guide to see how to access the camera.
