The controller doesn’t power on when adapter is connected

Faulty USB may not allow for the controller to power on. In order to fix this you may replace the broken USB by plugging in the new USB.

When values are inputted into the controller, the game doesn't respond

When the controller is powered on the thumbstick will not register input when pressed. This may be caused by trapped dirt in the sensor. To fix this, remove the backing of the controller and take off the joystick cover and clean the sensor or replace the sensor if it is damaged.

When the controller is powered on, the multifunctional wheel will not register input when pressed, in any direction. This problem could be due to the accumulation of dust and dirt in the crevices of the controller, worn plastic, and damaged electrical sensors beneath the buttons. To prevent this problem, keep the controller in good condition, and clean every once in a while. To fix this check buttons as well as sensors, and fix accordingly.

The A,B,X, and Y buttons are faulty. The buttons are designed to smoothly click down to trigger an action within the game. The faulty buttons could be due to the accumulation of dust and dirt in the crevices of the controller, worn plastic, and damaged electrical sensors beneath the buttons. To prevent this problem, keep the controller in good condition, and clean every once in a while. To fix this check buttons as well as sensors, and fix accordingly.

Involuntary input movement on game

In order to prevent this you must take apart the casing of the controller by removing the bolts on the back of the controller. After doing so we must get an electronic cleaning solution to clean the joystick sensors. Then reinstall the case.
