Polaroid Cube Troubleshooting

LED indicator is blinking orange and red and will not take photos or record video

Make more space on the SD card. Either delete old photos/videos to create space, or install an empty memory card.

Video playback is much lower quality or much slower than it should be

Make sure that your SD card is of at least Class 10. Lower Class cards (such as Class 6) may cause these performance issues.

Make sure the video quality switch is set to 1080p, instead of 720p. This will give the highest quality videos.

Computer cannot detect camera when plugged in with USB and the LED indicator is yellow

Make sure there is an SD card installed on the camera. The computer will not be able to detect the camera without an SD card. Also make sure that your SD card is at least Class 10.

Inspect your USB cable to ensure is still functioning and that there is no damage. You may want to test the cable with another device that you know is working.

Video does not have sound, or sound is muffled

Inspect the microphone to see if it has visible damage. The microphone is located below the lens . Refer to the breakdown guide for more information on where the microphone is located.

Make sure that the SD card you are using is at least Class 10. Lower Class cards (such as Class 6) may cause these audio issues.

LED indicator does not turn on when charging with an electrical outlet.

Inspect your USB charging cable to ensure is still functioning and that there is no damage. You may want to test the cable with another device that you know is working. The LED indicator should blink yellow when charging properly. When battery reaches 10% charge the LED will glow orange.

Inspect the memory card to ensure it is not corrupted or broken. Sometimes a defective memory card will interfere with charging the battery.
