Tablet Will Not Power On

When I hit the power button the tablet will not power on or it will not load past the Android logo.

Tablet is Not Charged

Plug the Orbo Jr. in and wait until it is fully charged. Hold the power button until you see the Android logo.

Damaged/Defective Charging Cable

Sometimes the cable could have been damaged, preventing the battery from charging. Locate another micro USB charging cable and use the cable with the wall plug.

Operating System is Unresponsive

Perform a soft reset by holding the Power button down for 8 seconds or until you see the word "Android". If this does not work, then try performing a hard reset by holding the volume up button along with the power button. Once the tablet starts up you should see a menu in the top left corner with an option called "Factory Reset Kernel." Use the volume button to select the option and the screen brightness should be restored.

Display is Not Responding

It is possible that nothing is happening because the display has become unresponsive. If the battery is working correctly and the screen stays black, then it is possible that the display is defective and needs to be replaced. Refer to our Display Replacement guide.

Malfunctioning Motherboard

If the display and battery are working correctly, then the issue could be the motherboard. Check all the connections from the display and battery to the motherboard. The connection from the motherboard to the display could have become lose and needs to be reset. Follow the Display Replacement guide to see where the cables are connected and ensure the connections are secure. If they are connected properly and the tablet will still not power on, then the motherboard most likely needs to be replaced. Please refer to our Motherboard Replacement guide.

Touchscreen Input Not Responsive

The tablet is turned on but I am unable to select anything on the screen.

Low Battery

Charge the tablet.

Defective Touchscreen

It is possible that nothing is happening because the display is defective. If the battery is working correctly and the screen stays black, then it is possible that the display is defective and needs to be replaced. Refer to our Display Replacement guide.

Malfunctioning Motherboard

If the display and battery are working correctly, then the issue could be the motherboard. Check all the connections from the display and battery to the motherboard. If they are connected properly and the tablet will still not power on, then the motherboard most likely needs to be replaced. Please refer to our Motherboard Replacement guide.

The Display is Very Dark

The tablet is powered on but the screen is very hard to see and has a dark tint.

Low Battery

Charge the tablet.

Loose Connection from Display to Motherboard

The connection from the motherboard to the display could have become loose and needs to be reset. Follow the Display Replacement guide to see where the cables are connected and ensure the connections are secure.

Display is Not Responding

It is possible that nothing is happening because the display has become unresponsive. If the battery is working correctly and the screen stays black, then it is possible that the display is defective and needs to be replaced. Refer to our Display Replacement guide.

No Audio

There is no audio coming from the device when sound is expected.

Volume is Turned Down

Sometimes the volume buttons get pushed by accident and the volume is turned all the way down. Hold the volume up button and ensure the sound is turned all the way up.

Low Battery

When the battery becomes low in the tablet, it is possible the audio will stop working. Ensure you charge the tablet and test the audio again.

Damaged Speaker

The Orbo Jr has a speaker on the back of the tablet. There is a chance that the speaker has become damaged and needs to be replaced. Follow the Speaker Replacement guide to replace the speaker.

Camera is Will Not Take Pictures

You are trying to take a selfie and the camera is not responding. You see a black screen or the app won't load.

Low Battery

If the battery is very low, then it may not be able to provide power to the camera. Charge the tablet and try using the camera again.

Frozen Operating Screen

You were able to launch the camera, but the screen has become unresponsive or frozen. Perform a soft reset by holding the power button for 8 seconds to turn the tablet off. Once the tablet is off, push the power button again to power on the device. Try opening the camera again and verify if the camera loads.

Camera is Broken

The camera may be broken and needs to be replaced. Follow the Camera Replacement guide to replace the camera and test the camera again.

Unfortunately youtube has stopped keeps popping up no matter if I reboot or reset and cant even put password in cuz it pops right back up no way to do anything with it due to youtube not responding popping up.
