Phone Won't Turn On
No matter what you do, you can't get your phone to turn on.
Phone Is Not Charged
If your phone won't turn on, plug the phone into the charging cable and wall power adapter to be sure that it is charging.
Drained/Bad Battery
If your phone still won't turn on, replace the battery with a new one or one that is fully charged.
Bad Charging Cable/Power Adapter
If your phone will not turn on after replacing the battery with a fully charged one and the replacement battery has been fully drained, plug in different charging cables between your phone and the wall power adapter (plugged into a known working power outlet) to see if your phone will turn on. If after changing out multiple cables, your phone still won't turn on, replace the wall power adapter.
Bad Power Button
If your phone still won't turn on, replace the power button. The power/screen lock button, volume switches, and touch screen are one complete part assembly.
Front Camera Takes Fuzzy Pictures
Your selfies just look so foggy.
Dirty Lens
Your front camera lens may have some dirt or smudges on it. Take a microfiber cloth, wet the corner of it, and gently wipe the lens.
Bad Camera Component
If after cleaning the front camera lens, your pictures still come out fuzzy or distorted, replace the front camera component.
Rear Camera Takes Fuzzy Pictures
All your camera shots just look so foggy.
Dirty Lens
Your rear camera lens may have some dirt or smudges on it. Take a microfiber cloth, wet the corner of it, and gently wipe the lens.
Bad Camera Component
If after cleaning the rear camera lens, your pictures still come out fuzzy or distorted, replace the rear camera component.
No Flash or Dim Flash When Taking Pictures, or No Light On Videos
Your phone just won't light the way to good camera shots.
Incorrect Software Setting
Go into your phone's camera settings to make sure the flash is set to "on". Setting the camera flash to "on" will force the phone to use the flash every time you take a picture or shoot a video with the phone. Bring up your camera or video app and set up to record a video (don't actually record a video) to test the flash.
Bad Flash Component
If your camera flash setting is "on" and you still get no flash or a dim flash, then replace the camera flash component. The camera flash, vibrator, and headphone jack are one complete part assembly.
No Volume Adjustment
You keep your phone up to your ear all the time in case it goes off or your phone can clear out a room when it goes off and it just won't quit.
Bad Volume Buttons
If you press the volume up/down buttons with the phone unlocked and nothing happens, then replace the volume buttons. The volume buttons, power/screen lock button, and touch screen are one complete part assembly.
Screen Is Distorted
Your phone screen just doesn't look right when it's turned on.
Bad Touch Screen
If your screen is distorted, discolored, or the glass is cracked, then replace the touch screen. The touch screen, volume buttons, and power/screen lock button are one complete assembly.
Phone Won't Vibrate
Your phone just won't give you a buzz.
Incorrect Software Setting
Check your phone's settings to make sure the vibration setting is enabled.
Bad Vibrator
If your vibration setting is enabled, replace the vibrator. The vibrator, headphone jack, and camera flash are one complete part assembly.
Bad Motherboard
You're ready to throw in the towel (or a hammer) at your phone.
Last but not least, if you have tried everything short of a hammer to fix any of these problems with your phone and your phone still isn't functioning correctly, you most likely have a bad motherboard and need to replace it.
