If your Nokia 2660 Flip suddenly stops turning on, follow this page for possible solutions.
Drained Battery Life
While using your Nokia 2660 your battery will drain eventually to 0% and you will have to charge it to continue use. Simply plug the Nokia 2660 Flip into the charging cable and let it sit there for around 10-15 minutes to obtain an acceptable battery life. Also make sure not to overcharge the phone as doing this too frequently can cause damage to the phone's battery and cause the battery's life to be shorter than expected.
Software Freeze or Crash
Sometimes your phone can suddenly experience a software crash which happens once in a while with any technology nowadays and is completely normal. In some rare cases the Nokia may seem turned off afterwards but in reality it is frozen or "locked" up. In order to fix this you can force restart your phone. Simply press down and hold the power button for 10-20 seconds and the phone should perform a system reboot.
Dust or Debris
Daily use of our phones often causes debris to get inside ports of our devices. For example dust can easily build-up on things within your home. But in our case of the phone not turning on or charging the cause can be dust inside the charging port. Easily remove the dust by using canned air and blow the air inside the port on your Nokia. Also you can use a toothbrush or soft brush and insert it within the charging port to remove the dust.
Faulty Charger Accessories
If your phone doesn't charge when hooked up to your charging cable it maybe a telltale sign to replace it with a new one. This isn't something to get worried about as charging wires don't always last forever so if you have any spare ones try those to charge your Nokia.
Battery Issues
The removable battery within your Nokia 2660 may have moved out of it's slot due to a drop or just daily use. Fixing this requires removing the rear case of the phone with your fingernail or flathead screwdriver. Then moving the battery back into place in the slot. The worst case scenario can be the battery being dead which would lead to the phone not turning on. Which if this is the case simply turn the phone off, remove the rear case, remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, reinsert a new battery, and perform a hard reset.
