Watch won’t keep time

The watch displays inaccurate time

Crown not fully seated

Check to ensure that the crown is fully seated to the face of the watch.

Low battery voltage

A low or depleted battery will cause the watch to keep inaccurate time. Replace battery and check for normal watch operation. See Battery replacement page.

Water inside watch

If water is inside of the watch, the water resistance feature may have been compromised. This could be from submerging the watch past the manufacturer’s stated depth, a defect such as a gap in the watch causing a leak, or a crack in the glass on the face of the watch. If water has been in contact with the electrical components of the watch, the watch may need to be returned to the manufacturer to be remanufactured. If the electronics can be salvaged, but water needs to be removed from the face, the watch will likely need to be completely disassembled. To completely disassemble the watch to remove water and/or replace the glass cover, follow this guide.

Hands will not move

One or more of the hands do not move inside the watch

Crown not fully seated

The crown of the watch allows for the adjustment of time. When it is pulled out, the hands will not move unless the crown in turned by the user. Check to ensure that the crown is fully seated to the face of the watch for normal operation.

Low battery voltage

A low or depleted battery will cause the watch to keep inaccurate time. Replace battery and check for normal watch operation. See Battery replacement page.

Damaged/faulty hands

A bent or broken hand can interfere with the hands moving as designed. Order replacement hands and check for normal operation. See hands replacement guide.

Bezel will not turn

The bezel is hard to turn or will not turn at all

Debris around bezel

Dirt or debris around the bezel can prevent it from moving. Begin by cleaning the area around the bezel with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Try using compressed air to free and debris from under the bezel. If this does not solve the problem, return the watch to the manufacture. See Service inquiries

Watch won’t stay on wrist

The watch is loose and slips off your wrist

Straps are too long

The straps are adjustable for different size wrists. If the watch is loose, unclasp the buckle on the straps. With the watch on your wrist, place the prong in a hole closer to the face of the watch. This will tighten the straps on your wrist.

Straps are damaged

The straps may have been damaged and may not function properly. The straps are held in place with spring-loaded pins. To remove a strap, depress one end of the pin with a small flathead screwdriver. Once the pin is depressed, the pin and strap should be free to remove from the watch. Remove the damaged strap from the pin, and place a new strap on the pin. To place the strap back on the watch, depress the pin, and place the pin strap combination back in the watch. For more help replacing the straps, follow this guide.

Kelsea, my watch technician replaced the battery but now the hands will only move if he manually presses the clip (terminal) down onto the battery. Otherwise there doesn’t seem to be enough pressure to keep the terminal on the battery after the watch is closed. Seems to be a design fault to have such a weak contact. Any suggestions ?
