Logitech Gamepad F310 Troubleshooting

Disconnecting from the PC

The controller is plugged in but will not do anything. Always try disconnecting your controller, restarting your device, and then plugging your controller back in before you begin making repairs. Make sure your controller is not plugged in when making repairs.

Not Plugged in Properly

Check to see whether you have inserted the USB in the correct spot on the computer, and that it is fully inserted. If it is not fully inserted, it may not connect.

Controller buttons malfunctioning/damaged

Some buttons or actions work on the controller, but others will not.

Damaged Controller Buttons

Individual buttons may be broken, especially if they look indented. Reference Here to replace buttons.

Tools Required: 1mm screwdriver, small pry bar (recommended), tweezers (recommended)

Replacing the trigger buttons

If the buttons on the back of your controller are not working or are cracked, reference Here to replace them.

Failure to work with operating systems

Errors show when you try to use the controller, or the controller does not work.

Incorrect operating system

This controller is compatible with Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and ChromeOS. If you are not using one of these operating systems, then the controller is not compatible.

Cable shorting

Your controller is connected but nothing on the controller works. Check the other solutions before this one.

Replacing the Cable

The cable connecting the gamepad to the computer may be damaged. Reference Here to replace the cable. SOLDERING IS REQUIRED TO FIX THIS PART.

Joystick drift

Your character or focal point gradually turns without the joystick moving.

Replacing Joystick

If your character continuously looks in a direction without you moving the joystick, you have joystick drift. Reference Here to fix or replace this.
