Computer blue screen
A blue screen appears when Microsoft Windows crashes or stops executing.
Error Updating Graphics Card Driver
According to the user's computer model and configuration, install a computer driver that is compatible with the computer. This effectively blocks incorrect operation of systems and subsystems within the device that lead to a catastrophic failure or freeze. If your device drivers are incompatible or outdated, failures or freezes may become common. Update device drivers and ensure compatibility first. If the problem persists, the problem may instead be hardware-related.
Memory Card Failure
Pull out the memory module, clear the slot, and clean the memory module, then install it back. If the problem is not resolved the memory is faulty. If the problem persists, replace the memory module.
Lenovo laptop cannot be charged
There is no charging response after the computer is connected to the charging cable.
Power Management Software is blocking charge
Enter the relevant power management software, turn off the battery protection mode or uncheck the charge inhibit option. Power management software controls the amount of power sent to components within the device. If the power management system prevents adequate charge from entering the battery, the device may charge slow, fail to charge, or only operate while connected to its charging cable.
Faulty battery hardware
A potential cause of this issue might be the battery itself. Physical damage or general device failure could produce a failure to charge. Install some hardware detection applications to obtain approximate battery-loss reference information. If there is a problem detected by this software replace the battery. The device may continue to operate while not relying on the battery. This problem typically arises in cases where the machine operates on a power source but not on battery.
Distorted audio output from speakers or headphones
Problems with the quality of the speakers or headphones
Audio drivers need updating
If playback issues occur, there may be an issue with your laptop’s sound card or its drivers. Outdated or incorrect drivers could cause hardware malfunction. First check to see if your audio drivers are up to date. If the issue persists the problem may instead be the hardware itself. Replace the sound card within your laptop to resolve issues of this type.
The volume is too high
Try to reduce the device’s volume to the speakers or headphones. Loads placed on speakers or headphones due to high-volume throughput may reduce the quality of audio produced by the laptop. Reducing this throughput to an appropriate level may restore audio fidelity.
Hardware device conflict
If audio fails to play through speakers or headphones, there may be a conflict in the settings of your device. Make sure that you have the appropriate device selected in your audio settings, ensuring that the devices desired are recognized by your machine. If your machine fails to recognize your desired device there may be an issue with your laptop’s sound card. Your sound card may need to be replaced.
Screen freezes or becomes unresponsive
Operation stopped abnormally due to program error, operation error, etc. The image on the monitor freezes and cannot be operated.
Not enough memory, too many open programs
Open the task manager, click on memory, view the programs that occupy the most memory, and end unnecessary programs. Programs that occupy large amounts of memory slow down computer systems and subsystems, sometimes even stopping function altogether. Closing programs of this type frees memory for other programs and allows the device to function properly. If closing these programs does not restore device speed and functionality, the device may lack enough RAM to sustain use. In this case, install more RAM in your machine.
Excessive Dust
If dust has built up in your computer, you might not even know it. Remove the bottom panel of the laptop, and spray any dusty areas with compressed air.
Hard Disk Damage, Loose Memory Modules
Replace the hard disk, and reinstall the memory module.
System damage
Software can become corrupted for various reasons. In the case that your laptop exhibits symptoms of corrupted software, reinstalling the system software may resolve operation issues. Reinstalling system software can be done through specific replacement of individual programs, or by a broad reinstall of the whole operating system. In either case, perform a backup of all essential files on your device to an external device and continue with the reinstall.
Weak wireless connection
The wireless network cannot be connected smoothly, the wireless network signal cannot be searched, and the system displays the error message "Unable to connect".
Reduce obstacles in activity space
Wireless signals travel straight. If obstacles are encountered during transmission, the signal strength will be weakened. Walls and distance reduce signal strength. Be sure that the laptop is in range and the path between signals is as unobstructed as possible.
Interference from other electromagnetic waves
Keep the wireless network environment as clean as possible. Wireless connectivity relies on signals sent and received by wireless network cards and adapters. Signals produced by other electronic devices in the vicinity of your laptop or network may interfere with your device and its connection. Reducing background interference may increase the fidelity of your connection and solve connectivity issues.
Faulty Network Adapter
If wireless connection continues to weaken or fails to work entirely, there may be an issue with the network adapter. The network adapter for this laptop is controlled by the operating system. Drivers that maintain connection and operation of the network adapter could be outdated, incorrect, or corrupted. Be sure your laptop’s drivers are updated. Physical damage to the network adapter could cause failure. In this case the network adapter may need to be replaced altogether.
