The battery is dead

If your phone is unresponsive when attempting to power up, your battery may be uncharged. To fix this, plug in the power adapter into the phone and charge the battery. If the problem persists, the battery may be unable to hold a charge and would need replacing. Please refer to the Battery Installation guide here.

The circuit board is faulty

If the battery is known to be charged, or the phone is being externally powered and the phone still won’t turn on, there may be an issue with one of the circuit boards. Either of the two main circuit boards may need replacing. Please refer to this Circuit Board Installation Guide.

The screen does not display properly

Either screen on your phone will not operate as intended.

The screen is broken

If either screen on your phone will not display anything, the screen may be broken. Try restarting the device (turning it off and back on via the power button). If the problem persists, you may need to replace the screen. Please refer to the LCD Screen Installation guide here.

The pixels are dead

If the screen has areas that will not produce the correct colors, or are not as bright as the rest of the screen, the screen likely has some dead pixels. The only way to repair these is to replace the screen. Please refer to the LCD Screen Installation guide here.

The phone company is not providing service

The phone is unresponsive to keyboard use.

The keyboard is broken

The keyboard is the collection of buttons which is revealed when "flipping open" the phone and shows primarily the English alphabet. If the keyboard isn’t working properly and does not register any input, the keyboard may need to be replaced. Please refer to the Keyboard Installation guide here.

The phone will not receive keypad commands

The phone is unresponsive to keypad use.

The keypad is broken

The keypad is the collection of buttons on the front of phone while it is "flipped closed" and consists of the standard phone buttons (0-9, #, *). Music will not play over the headphones

When trying to play music over headphones, either one or both of the headphones do not produce sound.

The connection is faulty

First try unplugging the headphones from the device and plugging them in again. If the problem persists, you may have a broken plug that needs replacement.

The plug is broken

The plug may have disconnected from the circuit board or otherwise broken. To fix this, the circuit board may need to be replaced. Please refer to this Circuit Board Installation Guide.

The headphones are broken

If both the connection is good and the plug is not broken, then the headphones themselves may be broken. In this case, you will need to replace them.
