Phone Will Not Turn On
No matter what you do, you can't get your phone to turn on.
Battery Has No Charge
The battery could have no charge. To test the battery, connect your phone to the charger. If the phone does not charge, the battery will need to be replaced. Please see the Battery Replacement Guide.
Defective Battery
Your phone may have a broken display if you can hear sounds or feel vibrations but see no display. If the display is broken, it will need to be replaced.
No Sound From the Speakers
Your phone is on, you're trying to watch a sweet video, but you can't hear any sounds.
Settings Issue
The phone could be on the mute setting. Use the volume buttons located on the top right side of the phone to check the volume, or manually check the volume setting in the phone’s settings application.
Broken or Defective Speakers
The speakers on the phone could be broken and will need to be replaced.
Touchscreen is Frozen
Even after pushing every button over and over, your phone isn't responding.
Reset Phone
Reset your phone by holding the power button located on the top right side of the phone until the phone turns off and restarts.
Charge Phone
An extremely low battery may cause the touchscreen to freeze. Check the battery and connect the phone to the charger for 20 minutes.
Application Does Not Respond or Gives Error Messages
You keep trying to play Candy Crush but it's just not working.
Incompatible Application
That particular application may not be compatible with the phone’s operating system. Check the application store on your phone to find a compatible version of the application.
Corrupt File
The file for the application may be corrupt. Delete the application from the phone and check the application store on your phone to find a different version of the application.
Battery charges slowly
You've got places to be, but your phone is taking forever to charge. What gives?
Port and Connector
Check the battery port on the phone and the charger connector for dirt and/or damage.
Power Source
Try using a wall-charger, as wall-chargers provide a more powerful charge than a computer/USB charger.
Charging Source
Try connecting to different chargers or outlets to see if the charger is defective.
Defective Battery
If you have tried all of the above, the battery could be defective and will need to be replaced. Refer to our Battery Replacement Guide.
