JBL On Tour Will Not Hold A Charge

If your JBL On Tour speaker will not hold a charge, follow this page for possible solutions.

Ensure that the outlet is supplying power by plugging in another device. If another device is not readily available, use a different outlet to see if the outlet is functioning properly.

Ensure that the charger you are using was issued by the manufacturer. If possible, plug in another device with a similar port to ensure that the charger is supplying power. If the device with the similar port is charging, your device may have a damaged charger port. Refer to the Damaged Charger Port section of the troubleshooting guide.

Check to see that there are batteries in the device, and that they are the correct type (AA). Ensure that the batteries are facing the correct way, with the positive side of the battery connecting to the negative side of the battery port and vice versa. If there is any corrosion on the batteries or the device connections, use a wire brush to remove any build up and replace the batteries.

If the previous troubleshooting solutions did not solve the problem, you may have a damaged charger port. Using a flashlight, examine the charger port to see if there is any dirt or debris, and clean if necessary.
