When in settings, you may have unknowingly disabled your touchscreen from being used, temporarily, until enabled again. All you would need to do is go to settings, click “Device Manager”, then select touchscreen driver and press “Enable device.”

Grab a microfiber cloth, (one that you would use to clean your phone or glasses) and dab it into a bit of distilled water, then gently wipe off the screen.
