If your HP ProBook x360 11 G3 EE touchscreen will not respond, you’ve come to the right page. Here are 3 reasons why it may not be working, and their simple solutions with instructions on how to solve them quickly and efficiently.
Touchscreen Disabled
When in settings, you may have unknowingly disabled your touchscreen from being used, temporarily, until enabled again. All you would need to do is go to settings, click “Device Manager”, then select touchscreen driver and press “Enable device.”
Moisture or Debris
We use our laptops everyday, and over time dirt, water, or oil can accumulate onto the screen. This can interfere greatly with the touch signals. Grab a microfiber cloth, (one that you would use to clean your phone or glasses) and dab it into a bit of distilled water, then gently wipe off the screen.
Outdated or Corrupted Driver
A driver that is under a touchscreen is just a way that the hardware and Windows communicate. Open your device manager, check if it's working, update your driver, and restart your laptop.
*Additionally, if none of these steps work- you can also uninstall the driver.
