Refer to Garmin's owner manual? Well I did, and it was not at all helpful in getting my device to connect to my computer. How about providing some actual trouble shooting information instead of a paragraph on what mode my device will appear as on the PC after it connects.

At startup, the AGREE tab turns orange when pressed and the sat-nav locks up permanently. It will not connect to Pc, pressing bottom right of screen whilst holding power button just causes display to alternate on and off. Is it broke?

I have the opposite problem: my Nuvi 65 will only power on when plugged into my auto. Any ideas?
