No audio playback on videos

The device can record video, but does not seem to be recording any audio

Software crash

The software that controls the audio driver may have crashed. Restarting the device will run the software again. Sometimes the device just needs a reboot in order to function properly again.

Loose component

The microphone portion may have become loose inside the device or even damaged.

Frozen Screen

The camera powers on, but the screen is unresponsive or won't turn on.

Reset the Device

If your camera is on but unresponsive, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to restart the device.

Loose components

The screen component may have loosened from the mother board or maybe even damaged.

Device will not turn on

Device will not Power On nor looks like it is Functional

Power Button may be Stuck

Make sure that the Power Button is not stuck and if it is please refer to

Faulty batteries

Ensure that the batteries are fully charged or make sure that it is put in correctly. Make sure that you have the exact type of batteries, in this case double AA batteries and that they are facing in the correct directions indicated by the indications on the case.

Connections lost between Camera and Computer

Computer doesn't recognize the camera when plugged in

USB Connector on Laptop/PC

Make sure there is nothing inside the USB connector. Ensure that the inside is clean and if any dirt or debris is preventing a connection please remove carefully.

USB Port will not fit into PC

Sometimes the USB may not be functional or it may be very old. If its a very old USB drive please consider on buying a new one for the old one may corrupt the files.

USB component is loose from the Motherboard

The USB part of the camera may have lifted off the motherboard slightly, causing a severed connection. Please refer to this guide.

Conflicting devices plugged into computer

Some devices plugged into the computer cause others to become unrecognizable. Unplug any other USB device and try again.

Buttons are unresponsive

The buttons do not want to cooperate

Buttons may be Stuck

Check to make sure that none of the buttons are stuck and make sure that there isn't any sticky substance that got into the device. Fix the button using this guide.

The wire that connects the buttons to the mother board may have become loose or even damaged. Fix it by using this guide.
