My device does not power up even though I know it's fully charged.

The device's power button could be malfunctioning and not fully depressing. Try pressing the device's power button four times to see if the device powers up.

A faulty power cord could stop your tablet from charging. If the cord is physically damaged or frayed, the cord is broken and your tablet's battery is likely functional. Consider purchasing a replacement power cord.

Plug in the power cord to a reliable outlet and connect to the tablet. Although I've recently charged my device, it still dies quickly.

Apps can be a large drain on battery power. If your device has many apps running at once, try quitting some that you don't use often. In order to quit apps, launch "Settings", scroll to "Device", select "Apps", swipe to the right twice to go to "Running", click on any unused apps and select "Stop".

If your display is on but it is very dark, try increasing your display's brightness. In order to increase the brightness launch the "Settings" app, then scroll to "Device", then tap the "Display & Lights", then click on "Brightness", and finally adjust the slider all the way to the right.

The front-facing camera comes up black or distorted when I selected it in Camera.

When the front-facing camera is not working, first try checking if the camera is covered. When the camera is covered by physical objects, remove them to ensure that the visual field is free of obstacles. If you've got a case on your device, try removing it to ensure that it is not blocking the camera. A large case could cover your camera and cause it to come up black when your camera is selected. When the camera is blurred with stains, use a screen cloth to clean the surface of the camera.

The speaker volume is up, but device still doesn't make any sound.

When the speaker is not producing sound, first try rebooting the device again. In order to reboot the device, locate the power button and hold it until the display for powering down the device appears, then select shut down or restart.

To ensure the speaker is enabled, make sure nothing is in the headphone jack. When the device is removed from the jack, try using the speakers again.

The volume might be turned into silent mode or too low. On the setting menu, find the volume controls tab. Try modulating the volume to the appropriate level.
