Bose QuietComfort 15 No Audio
The Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones power on but do not produce any sound. Audio may be completely absent regardless of volume level or connected device.
Faulty Cable Connection
The cable not being fully seated into the earcup can prevent audio from reaching the Bose QuietComfort 15.
Ensure that the cable makes an audible clicking noise when plugged into your Bose QuietComfort 15 and then test the sound. If there is still no audio, then the problem may be in the audio cable.
Faulty Audio Cable
A damaged cable can prevent audio from reaching the Bose QuietComfort 15.
Inspect the cable for fraying, bent connectors, or exposed wiring. Gently move the cable while audio is playing to check for intermittent sound. If damage is present or sound cuts in and out, replace the cable with a known-working QuietComfort 15-compatible cable.'
Faulty Battery
The battery not being plugged in correctly, damaged, or dead can prevent the audio from reaching the Bose QuietComfort 15.
Inspect the battery to ensure it is in the correct position and is not damaged in any way. If no damage can be seen on the battery, see our replacement guide on how to replace the battery.
