Sound quality is distorted
The speaker is producing a crackling, popping or overall poor sound quality.
Improper connection
If popping sounds come through the soundbar, it may be caused by switching from a stereo channel to a surround sound channel. To fix this, remove the Bose soundbar wires from the television and run speaker wires to the cable box.
Faulty Settings
If popping noise occurs even with proper connection, it may be caused by wrong audio settings on the television. If this is the case, go into the television’s settings and switch the audio from Dolby Digital to a PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) audio setting.
Weak or No Wireless Signal
If there is poor sound quality originating from the wireless subwoofer, it may result from a weak signal or no signal caused by some electrical interference. Try hardwiring the subwoofer directly to the system using a cable.
Dirty Speaker Grill
If sound is distorted by dirt or dust fibers, grill cloth may need to be cleaned. Use a vacuum cleaner, preferably with a soft bristle attachment to clean dust or fibers from the cloth speaker grill. If it doesn’t clean, try using a lint roller. If dirt has caused too much damage, replacement might be needed.

No sound is produced from speaker
The speaker fails to produce any sound after previously working or not working at all.
Wrong source
If you plug speaker wires into a source plug-in on your television, you may need to change source on the television to produce the sound. Use the source or input button on the television or TV remote to select appropriate source on your television.
No sound suddenly
If speaker plays sound and then suddenly cuts off, you may need to reconnect the wires. To reconnect wires, unplug all wires associated with the system and reconnect them.
Incorrect connection
If the soundbar system is not producing sound at all, it could be solved with a system reset. To perform a reset, you must unplug the power cord for at least 5 minutes, then plug the power cord back in. If there is no startup tone within 10 seconds of giving power to the system, then the power outlet may not be working. In this case, you could try moving it to a different power outlet. You will know when your system is powered on if there is a solid green light at the front of the system.
LED light fails to illuminate
When the device is plugged in and powered on, the LED indicator light does not illuminate.
Loose Power Cords
If the power cord is improperly connected, the LED will not illuminate. This can be resolved by connecting the power cords more tightly. Unplug all cords connecting the device to the television or other system being used. When plugging the cords back in make sure they are fully inserted into the outlets.
Dead Remote Batteries
If the LED does not respond, it could be caused by low or inactive batteries in the remote. Double check to see if the remote can be used on other devices. If it appears to not work replace the batteries and check again. If the remote continues to not work even with replaced batteries, the remote needs to be replaced.
Improper System Reset
If speaker is not properly connected, it may need to be reset. To properly reset the system, make sure the product is turned off. Then unplug the device from its power source and wait for 1 minute. Reconnect all of the cords and test the system.
