Alcatel Go Flip 4 Poor Battery Life

If your Alcatel Go Flip 4’s battery lasts significantly less than the manufacturer’s stated 16-day standby time or 27-hour talk time, then follow these steps to diagnose and fix the battery issue.

Through the settings app access the network and connectivity tab where you will gain access to the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and geolocation tab.

First, select the Wi-Fi option. Select the “off” option to turn off the Wi-Fi.

Next, access the Bluetooth tab under network and connectivity tab and select “off”.

Lastly, using the same network and connectivity tab select geolocation and select the “turn off” button.

Force the phone into restarting by holding down the button on the right-hand side for 10-15 seconds. After waiting 2 minutes, check if the battery power is still insufficient, then try removing the battery and reinserting it into the phone. To remove the battery, insert a sharper object into the indent on the bottom right side of the phone. Once you have taken off the bottom casing of the phone you have access to the battery. Take out the battery with the same sharp object and wait 10 seconds before reinserting the battery and clicking in the casing. Then turn the phone back on by pressing the top right red button on the keypad and leaving it pressed until it vibrates.

First, Inspect the charging port carefully for any dirt, dust, or lint that might be blocking the connection.

Second, gently clean the port using a soft brush, toothpick, or compressed air. Plan your repair carefully. Avoid using metal tools.

Lastly, make sure the charger fits snugly and the port is not loose or damaged.
