Rispondi a "Where are the cpu and the gpu located? I need to re apply heat paste."Under the top edge of the track-pad is the memory. Top right can also be storage. The heat sink is at the top section of the keyboard. Since you replaced the battery, I will assume you know how to take apart the laptop. To change the thermal paste, you need to remove the heat sink. This part is the large black part in the center of the board. The best way to see whats getting hot is by opening the laptop in a L shape form, laying the laptop on screen with the bottom facing you and feeling different areas for heat but this is dangerous because you can damage the laptop if you touch something you shouldn’t. But you can change the paste first and see if that makes a difference. Just make sure you disconnect the battery before doing so.
Rispondi a "Every time I press to off and on button it screen shots"Your phone is water damaged. You need to back up your phone ASAP before it fails. Back up on a computer with itunes. Then you can take it to a shop to check but iphone 6 are really cheap used. You can buy another and restore your data to it.
Rispondi a "How do I remove circuit board from housing"WOW! Thats going to be interesting to fix. Even if you get the board out, you wont be able to fix this without the right parts and tools. Looks like some of the pins are corroded away. You can clean the plug with isopropyl, 99%. Use a tooth brush or small paint brush. This will clean up the area to see how bad the damage is. Do that and post updated photos.
Rispondi a "How to fix a water damaged lcd of Ipad Mini 5"The water seems to have got in between the LCD. Not sure if its possible for this ipad but the LCD it self is made up of different layers and would have to be taken apart and replace the sheets that are wet, this was easy to do in the earlier versions of the iPhones. The sheets can also be cleaned but that’s very hard because any dust or smug will be left behind and be visible. I would just say you need a new LCD. To get his done at a shop should cost you around $200 or less. Unless someone else knows how to get this done another way. You can also try Apple and just not give them that story and make up another?
Rispondi a "How to teardown/find keyboard connector?"There isn’t much out there on taking these apart in detail but most laptops are the same concept. As long as you can get inside then you can figure out the rest. Keyboard connectors are designed to not come out of place unless laptop got some serious impact so be prepared to find out that the connector is fine and keyboard may need to be replaced. Found this video. You will need a T5 screw driver and when all screws are removed, you need to lift the bottom and wiggle it out downwards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTcYqPwD...
Rispondi a "What should I do?"For macbooks, any water will go on the other side of the motherboard, the side you can’t see unless you take the board out the machine. If you ever split water on a macbook and it stops working its normally considered water damage and needs to see a tech. There are many locations out there that repair motherboards. If you can remove then ship it you’re looking at $100 to $500. There are some shops posting repairs on eBay for under $300 where you can send your board in to repair then they bill you after with whatever price is posted on the listing. Just make sure you read the reviews before choosing to send your board away. Some will do an exchange where they give you couple dollars off another board when you send them your damage board.
Rispondi a "iPhone XS Rear Glass Replacement Disaster"I didn’t see you mention removing the motherboard. That was your mistake. Rear glass removal requires removing the motherboard, camera etc just to be on the safe side. It takes a lot of heat to get that glass off. Too much heat on this motherboard can cause problems. You will have to take it or send it to a micro solder tech to have it tested out and figure out the problem. Could also be something as simple as the battery got damage or the housing creating some sort of short but either way you need working parts to test those possibilities.
Rispondi a "Water damage issues after submersion"Just a heads up, iPhone’s are not waterproof. They are considered water resistant. I work on them and I always tell people don’t take them near water and get a camera like a gopro for activities like that. I would recommend taking your phone to a repair shop, well know shop I should say. Rice does not remove water from electronics. The water stays in there and creates corrosion. Phone has to be taken apart to dry out or cleaned properly. In your case, your screen might be damage and need to replace since the water got between the layers of the lcd and created a problem and since the phone still works it can be saved. Just don’t wait too long before its too late.
Rispondi a "How do I replace the SSD?"Two questions to ask yourself before you start. Do I want to start with a fresh install or clone my hard drive to new? This is important because the both has different steps. Fresh install is the easiest because you create the boot drive and install windows after installing new drive but with the clone, you need a way to clone the old to new and will require more tools for this type of job. I can guide you using the fresh install. You will need T5 screw driver and Philips and the new SSD. The SSD that it uses is NVMe M.2 SSD . You can get these on Amazon, eBay, newegg, etc. I recommend the Samsung Evo drives. I actually found a video that can help you get in the machine, the user also posted a link on how to make the windows boot drive. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install/clean-install-of-windows-10-os-on-new-ssd-best/9186ae98-b2b4-4b7a-b3ff-0b053ce2d1c9 Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5dLLkaw... If you want to do the clone method then let me know and I can...
Rispondi a "Charge port pads torn from board"WOW, well that looks bad. If you can find the schematics for this then you will be able to fix it no problem but first you should see if the device even works. You will have to manually give it power via the correct pins and see if it charges etc and you can buy an old board off eBay and try to track down traces. But when you look at it, you have to ask yourself if its worth the time or maybe can be a challenge you want to take on. As for me, I would try to get another working board off eBay .
