My name is Tim Gelvin, I was self-employed since 2000. Retired from computer repair at the end of 2014. I'm married and have one son. I've been using a wheelchair since 1986. I'm no longer viable to be a reliable employee due to my injury. So I took up Ham radio the later part of 2014 just so I can keep tinkering with things and be somewhat useful in my community.

A blow dryer (Hair dryer) works great as a heat gun... I have had many successes on second tries because the first try didn't work...
Well you just made your xbox a toaster set... those pieces that fell off were electrical components. Time to go buy a new xbox! You might want to let the professionals do the repairs for you next time. Sorry for your bad luck!
