Hi chhachey If you tested on the DVDs they are working well, but for other Blu Rays Disc not loading, there is a possiblility the blu ray laser / lens section mmight be faulty. Did you recently purchase it? If so send it for replacement.

Hi @adelsondamar If you press harder, does it works? one thing you can try is to open up and check on the buttons and microswitches. check for any dry solder joints or worn out micro switches on it. those micro switches sadly now has a limited lifespan.. You can use the multimeter in beep community (digital) or resistance (analog) to test the microswitch. depress the switch and it should beep, or the analog pointer will move. I would suggest you to replace the micro switch, which you can order it from ebay / aliexpress, etc. To replace the micro switches, you need to have some soldering skills, perhaps I say it is not so difficult, else you can ask you friend for help.

Seems that the OS is corrupted, but failing storage can also corrupt and cause issues to OS. As this is a flash storage, chances would be slim compared to traditional HDD. I suggest you to do a OS format and reinstallation. You had mentioned it is windows 7. You can use the Windows 7 product key to install windows 10, which is recommended as win7 EOL is next year. sometimes windows updates can screw up …. i had encountered tons of pc, e.g. shell crashes… etc, app hangs… or closes, etc. depending on your client / customers… if they have 365 or onedrive … i suggest them to save / park their data there. couple of things normally i do…… backup user data and configurations…. e.g. email signatures, notes, bookmarks, history, etc check if asus laptop has any bios update releases as this notebook has limited storage, you can consider get a memory card to store the data. when formatting the os, just remove it. you can save it to external nas or if they have nas like qnap, you can try using their in house programs,...

Hi khloerasberry6  if possible get some high res pictures and share with us on the power board. Just two cents…….. had you done your troubleshooting yet? normally if fuse blown…. you need to inspect…. hot or cold side? sometimes in sudden rush current can cause it, but are there any abnormalities earlier? like lightning strikes… etc…. if you know the parts… you can get from aliexpress / ebay or prefer depending on your location, element14 mouser digikey which normally i get my component there…

Hi Siva Balan  Some places you can consider, but take extra caution and ask around for the repair price and part cost, and total cost. I’m afraid this model is not readily stocked, so either may need to wait…. or etc. Sim Lim Square is one of it, you can walk around and ask.…. but also infamous for ripping off and scams… Some may ask you sign some forms…… if you unsure do not commit and be warned on hard sells…. sadly there are alot of crooks like to do bad or conned jobs….. to target unsuspecting customers. If you confident, you can get the display assembly at aliexpress…. maybe ask a friend or who to help you do the replacement.

Hi @vipinharidas I suggest you to open up your computer casing and take a good pictures of it. I had checked with mine, and it is not easy to open. 1. From my observation, the compartment should be held with 4 screws (top) and 1 below @ battery compartment. 2. If you inspect from your picture 2, the inside screw holes, you will notice that it is the end of the screw, you can only unscrew from the top, but the top button compartment need to remove first. 3. the top button compartment (picture 4) were held with snap (click fit). It is designed a way, that when it is installed, it cannot be remove. However, you can try using a small screw to push the plastic holding to it. You can see it through from the battery connector holes. Be warned it is fragile. I had broken one, and I had stopped. I guess there are four snap in holding to it. When you remove it, you should be able to see the four screws holding the base of the pump.

Tips: Either use a multimeter or use a CR2032 battery to test the LED before soldering in :)))
