Make sure battery terminals are tight and check alternator. Provide more details too because if youre saying it dies when its actually stalling out, then you would be likely looking in the wrong system. A stalling out concern could indicate a lean condition, where you have too much air to not enough fuel. You could have misfire, which would lead to the same lean condition, fault catalytic converter can cause back pressure and cause it... a lot of things to look at with a stalling concern, but describe what is actually happening when the car stops working properly while driving
Per saperne di piùDoes it continue to move forward? Does that switch also allow it to move up and down; do those work? Do you hear any indication that the switch is trying to command the motor to activate? Check voltage at motor connector while operating switch. If it is getting proper commands and ground is good, then motor is shot, but its more likely the switch contact wore out and failed
Per saperne di piùCheck battery. If battery tests good, check starter. Kia starters fail often
Per saperne di piùFigure out why its on first. Could be the module, could be a failed sensor, a broken wire or corroded pin in the connector... check those things
Per saperne di piùWhat year and what engine are in your civic? Is it a 1.8l? On a 2006 1.8l non cng engine, drain coolant and remove the air box. Remove egr components, the pipe and valve. Remove lower radiator hose, bypass, and heater hoses. Remove thermostat housing, then thermostat. Reassemble in reverse order
Per saperne di piùCheck timing. Also check valve clearence; hondas like valve clearances to be on the looser end of specification. If belt has skipped a tooth or two it could cause misfires.
Per saperne di piùI would test batter and alternator. If your alternator isnt putting out enough voltage, the added loads like radio and ac etc could cause the flickering. Test voltage at your battery between + and - posts. Anything above 12 is what the alternator is putting out. I typically like to see about 14v while car is running.
Per saperne di piùDo you mean you cant open the rear hatch? Those latches fail a lot, id test it
Per saperne di piùDid you check for exhaust leak? Check 02 sensors? Evap canister?
Per saperne di piùYou checked voltage at each window motor? It's possible there is an issue in the switch causing it to not send a signal to the motors.
