applying isopropyl and acetone can damage the oleophobic coating and also the gaskets that make your phone splash proof. i had tried many household items, with no luck removing the scratches.
tip #1 patience. tip #2, hair dryer for this is not the best tool, i would recommend a glass heating plate. this will heat equally the back glass of your phone. then you can use a very thin ic removal blade just to unglue the glass from the frame. (you just need lica 1/2 inch so you can insert a metro card, careful the glass breaks pretty easy). then use a typical metro card and with a syringe inject little isopropyl alcohol where you are moving the metro card. reheat the back glass as needed. check where ir the fingerprint scanner flex cause you can damage it easily. also careful with the NFC antenna qi charger coil. Good luck PS. most youtube videos will show you an already removed glass, and remove it again as they record, looks pretty easy.
that is called ripped pads on the motherboard, and its bad, if you have schematics, you can check what the damaged pads are for. maybe you can bridge them. you have to practice more, since this happens when you don’t use the correct amount of air/heat/flux. this all depends on the calibration and brand of your hot air station. keep practicing
I have done this before and I found out that you can swap the displays and it will work, but with some issues. (i´m not sure exactly of the parts number i used, but in my experience) What I encountered so far, is that: - When turning on the MacBook the Apple logo and loading bar screen will show after a couple of seconds. - Sometimes the backlight will lock up and will not increase/decrease, this can easily be fixed by “sleeping your screen”, then turning it back on, i set that the lower left corner of the desktop will sleep my screen, so whenever i have this issue i just roll the cursor to that corner. iSight camera, bluetooth and WiFi works perfectly.
It sounds like a faulty Audio IC chip and this can be fixed by the jumper wire - reball method. If it fails, then you would have to replace the Audio IC. A somewhat difficult task if you are not familiar with this type of repair level. I have fixed 5 phones with this exact same issue, already fixed.
On my experience this is what you can do: 1. Restore to factory setting via iTunes. if still fail then, 2. If you can test another proximity sensor. if still fail then, 3. You will have the next issue. - Faulty soldering on the Audio IC chip and this can be fixed by the jumper wire - reball method. The Good, you can transfer the TouchID to a new touchscreen, if you damage it.
I don't think so since he change from home button to TouchID, the size always are different...
Are the motherboards swappable from the late-2009 macbook and the mid-2010 macbook?
