Ex-Mac/PC technician with ~2 Decades experience disassembling Mac, PCs (and more recently iPhones). I have fixed and diagnosed countless Macs and PCs over the last 20 years, and still help friends when their machines act up. (I have since moved on to development primarily.)
I also have a Amateur Radio license, have a few years of electronics classes in HS & College, and worked at an arcade and learned to fix electrical and mechanical problems with arcade machines (including pinball machines), so I have swapped CRTs — not that it is a useful skill anymore (although it came in handy when I had to swap a Mac 128K & Mac SE screen).
While I have yet to contribute a guide (others are usually hotter to trot) I can disassemble just about anything and —more importantly — put it back together.
I wish iFixit would allow me to link to devices I have so I can pull up their guides quickly on my page :) plus if you allowed people to make some items public, others could ask for help. or you could alert yourself for #<item>Q tags in forum.
