My name is Brennan Acevedo, and I’m a first-year student studying aerospace engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. As an engineer, I enjoy figuring out how things work and how to fix them. For example, gaming is one of my hobbies, and as such I’ve had to fix controllers before; most recently I took apart a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to replace the joystick sensors.

I’m from Chandler, Arizona, and I go back home to visit my family often. My hobbies include playing video games, drumming, listening to music, and hanging out with friends and family.

Like I mentioned, I enjoy figuring out how things work. I grew up playing with Legos all the time, and I loved to figure out how I could put all the pieces together to make something cool. Aside from Legos, I’ve used technical guides to repair things, worked a little bit with simple circuits, and put together Ikea furniture.

Lastly, I’m a tutor, so I’ve spent a lot of time learning how to explain things to people, and I really enjoy it. Hopefully this helps me help others understand how to fix their devices!
