Hello, I believe your iPad has to be 5th generation and above , and also iPad Air in order to take advantage of the new iOS11 updates. You may be able to go up to iOS 10.
Like a number of people said already, it's easier if you remove the screen. JUST MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT the battery cable , before doing anything. Failure to to do this will mess up your screen, and it may not come on when your done working.
Same thing happened to me with a Iphone 5s . I replaced the battery , it was fine for a couple of weeks . After that screen would not stay on , before rebooting. It wouldn't hold a charge. I replaced it again. Now it's better than ever. Some batteries are more inferior than others .
Hello, This just happened to my Nextbook. This worked for me like a charm. 1. You have to take the back cover off first. 2. Look for the power connector (it's white leading from the battery). 3. You have to carefully disconnect the power connector from the tablet for 25 seconds. 4. connect it back like it was . i was able to power it up with not problem . I would probably charge the battery before attempting , it may not make a difference . the back cover is pretty easy to take off. feel free to drop me an email if you wish ... malcolm.powell@mycomputerbackups.com
