Intermittent black vertical line on iPhone 5 display at battery levels between 40% to 65%. Battery possibly providing low power. Therefore decided to replace the battery.

Audio and power cable which runs close to the battery top was fractured while pulling the battery against the adhesive.

The battery replacement guide should caution about this delicate audio and power cable. Since the cable runs all over the phone almost 90% of the components need to be removed. Had to place a second order to call for the cable.
