Il Mio Problema
My buddy stepped on his iPod Touch 4G and thought he was going to do the repair himself. Unfortunately, the overseas company he ordered his replacement screen from did not include the adhesive strips and he had no idea how much was involved on the 4G. I offered to do it for him.

The repair went well... As usual, your tear downs and project walkthrough .pdfs were my ace in the hole. He's happy to have his iPod running again.
Il Mio Consiglio
I will say that if I had to do a 4G touch again, I'd advise to purchase the mid-frame just because all that glue scraping meant it was a little ratty looking by time I was through. It's ok, though.
Also, the copper cooling strip (I'm guessing) for the main camera is super fragile and that point is made... just a few steps too late in the walkthrough. lol. That's me being nit picky, though.
Overall.. a big win. Thanks, iFixit!
