Old battery in my iPhone 4S had expanded so much that the back cover on the phone had lifted up approximately 1/4 of an inch. This was a problem because the iPhone would no longer fit in my MINI Snap in adapter (in the armrest of the car)

Funny, I got my replacement battery FROM ifixit !!
Months later the back cover is 1/3 poped off !
