What is the model number of the washer?
If the washer is a top loader, check if the temperature sensor is plugged in securely into the small tank in the control panel.
With a lot of F&P top loaders, the tank is located behind where the hoses enter the machine.
It could also be due to a leaking inlet valve pipe connection etc.
