Hi @amirhossei52737
The most important thing to do when working inside a laptop is to disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard, as soon as you can access it after opening the laptop.
Doing this will minimize any electrical problems from occurring whilst doing any repairs.
There's always power on a motherboard somewhere even when the laptop is turned off. The Power button is not a power isolating button. Its function is to signal the intentions of the user to the BIOS/OS what to do, e.g. turn on, wake up etc.
Mechanical and ESD damage e.g. tools slipping physically damaging components etc or fingers/hands touching sensitive components is another problem so be careful when you're doing any repairs and take your time doing them. Wearing a wrist strap, connected to a suitable earth point will help to avoid causing ESD damage.
Here are two videos that will help to check if the cable is OK or not.
Here's a teardown video that may help. The battery can be seen being disconnected at 4:50 minutes into the video. Don't do like the person in the video and touch anything else before disconnecting it as soon as you can access it.
Here's a video that shows how to replace the display in the laptop which shows where the cable connections are in the motherboard and the display. The person in the video may be wearing insulating gloves but my view that it is always safer to disconnect the battery first (which they haven't done) and only reconnect it, last thing before closing the laptop for the last time.
If the EDP cable is damaged the best that I can find out is that the Asus part number for the EDP cable is 14005-03070000 (examples only). Search online for the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best. Note: the same cable is used for a lot of different Asus models and perhaps that's why the seller may not list your model as being compatible, as they may not know this.
