No sign of life after repairing camera lens
I originally took apart this camera to fix the camera lens, due to being stuck while extended. I got the lens to work, tested it around 2-3 times and the LCD would turn on and work as normal. However, when putting everything back together, the camera will not turn on. I suspect I may have shorted it somewhere, but I've never worked on circuit boards or anything like that before.
Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated!

As you found out, the hard way, electronics packed into digital cameras are not diy friendly to repairs. The best you can do is disassemble it and carefully examine parts removal for damage to circuitry, tiny ribbon cables, their connections, etc. Perhaps searching youtube videos related to your camera may help to become familiar with things insiders are willing to share. If you are lucky, a short that prevented full powerup with zero physical damage anywhere may correct itself when the short is corrected. Low voltage circuits in cameras may not cause permanent damage, just upset normal powerup routines from the short.
