@jeremiahminter that is a data loss from one of the TAB connections of a ribbon coming from the driver board to the panel. The driver boards are not separately replaceable. They are connected to the LCD via a special process.
You can try to get the line to disappear, by putting some pressure on the tab on top of the LCD where the line is, and see if pressure on that changes it. It might help if you post an image of what you see with your question. That way we could see what you are dealing with. Use this guide for that. The TABS are at the end of where the little ribbon cables, that go from the LCD controller board, into the LCD panel.
The attached images are just an example of what to look for.
It is also possible that this is an issue with the actual driver board. Check for any obvious damage of any of the components on it.

@oldturkey thank you for the info, I will give that a try and let you know if that worked. I did add one picture to my initial post that shows the issue I am having. Were you able to see that?
