Replaced capacitor c551, now hangs on first boot screen

As the title suggests...I had originally replaced c550 because composite was garbled and this fixed it. I recently got an s-video cable and noticed I had the same problem. Went ahead and replaced c551 and now the colors/picture looks flawless over s-video but it hangs on the white Sony boot logo (regardless of whether a game in the console or not.) It doesn't look like I bridged anything (I think) but not really sure where I went wrong. Anyone have ideas towards what could've caused this?

Edit: here's some pics, my god the soldering is worse than I recall. Now that I'm looking closer, that glob next to the C508 text looks like it could be part of the problem?

@hellaraiser you replaced C551 with what? Let's see what this all looks like. If it worked before but stopped working when you replaced the capacitor, you know the issue will be directly related to that. Either a solder bridge, wrong component, bad component or further issues with your circuitry.

I would do a continuity check between the leads of the capacitors and wherever they go on the circuit board, that would help rule out a bad solder joint. The solder does look suspect, a good joint will usually be shiny and a bad / cold joint will be dull. I would also use some flux cleaner of isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs to clean up the PCB around the solder joints, as there's a lot of gunk from the solder job which can hide issues below.

It also looks like the base of the new C551 has some damage, but it could be an artifact of the photo. Where did you source these capacitors? You generally want to avoid cheap no-name brand caps when recapping sensitive electronics. I try to source all my replacement parts from Digikey or Mouser even though it's usually a little pricier.

@chrisgreen I fixed it! My plan was to de-solder it and solder in a new one. I went to de-solder the current one and in doing so removed about half the solder from each pad, leaving a much better looking solder job where the solder itself stayed within the rectangular pad space. Decided to test it for fun, lo and behold I've got beautiful s-video out and a fully working ps one. I must've gotten some solder on the traces before, guessing it was near the C508 text. Thanks to everyone for their help with this!
