Hello there! I'm looking for this component in my ps3 super slim motherboard. I think it's a coil. It's located besides the HDMI IC.

Can't find the part online... But you should be able to buy those at a local repair shop near you.
Regarding the information on the website, someone shared this "n general though, those are typically series termination resistors on the order of 33 ohms.".
Hopefully you will get the PS3 fixed soon again!

I came across that same post some days ago. I searched a little bit more yesterday and found out many videos in spanish repairing these components. They bridged the pins across to bypass them and they say this is a protection EMI choke coil. I tried to find those on AliExpress but they only have the ones for ps4 and the other models of ps3 (4 coils of 4 pins instead of 2 coils of 8 pins).
The ps3 fat also uses 4 coils of 4 pins and they are identified as LF2501, LF2502, LF2503 and LF2504.
Ahhh, alright! It’s too bad that they are so hard to find…. I think your only option left is to bridge the pins! Then it should work again!
